Didactics
One half day each week is protected time set aside for residents to
participate in didactic conferences. Faculty members, residents and
community-based sub specialists present topics ranging from dermatology
to ER medicine. This half-day session provides all residents, even
those involved in clinical rotations throughout the community, to
attend.
Other didactic opportunities include Morbidity and Mortality Rounds, daily topics in Obstetrics, Pediatric Grand Rounds, lunchtime conferences in medicine and pediatrics, and radiology rounds. There are numerous optional conferences available within the MultiCare Health System itself and in the Tacoma medical community. |
