Application Process

1. We start reviewing applications in September of each year.

2. Once we receive your completed application, an email will be sent to you confirming that we have received your application.

3. Completed applications will be submitted to our selection committee. You will be notified if further in formation is required. The application will not be reviewed by the selection committee until it is complete.

4. The selection committee selects candidates for interview.  This typically occurs within 1-2 weeks of receipt of all application materials.  Our Fellowship Coordinator will contact you informing you of our decision.

5. Interviews are granted by invitation only. The interview plays an integral part in our final selection process.

6. Once you contact us accepting an interview, we will arrange a day that is convenient for both parties.

The Interview

1. Plan to spend at least one-half day with us. We hope to give every interviewee as complete a picture as possible of our program, staff, facilities, and how we operate. We strongly encourage you to also spend some extra time touring the community and the surrounding area.

2. Most interviews will start at 8:00 a.m., when you will attend morning OB report. You will then meet with the Fellowship Director, Residency Director, and a subset of OB and FP faculty, current fellows, and residents. A tour of the clinic and hospital facilities will also be provided.

3. We welcome and encourage your significant other to join you during the interview process. We realize this is a major decision for the entire family.

Final Selection

Once the interview has been completed, the committee will review the evaluations from our faculty, fellows and residents.

We offer positions on a rolling basis. All applicants will be notified of our decision as soon as possible.

As a reminder, we unfortunately do not have any funding to help cover travel expenses for your interview.
