Tacoma Family Medicine (TFM) is a fully accredited Family Medicine
Residency Program and a proud member of the University of Washington’s
Family Practice Network -- comprising some of the finest Family
Medicine training programs in the country.
TFM is committed to training full-scope Family Medicine physicians bound for rural and underserved communities. We endeavor to provide “a full basket of services” as expressed in the Future of Family Medicine Project. TFM is also community based without other residency programs competing for valuable training time and experience. TFM’s strengths include Obstetrics, Pediatrics, Inpatient Medicine and procedural training. Our Outpatient Ambulatory training is unmatched. Add to this our commitment to rural and underserved communities, and you will see why our residents are uniquely qualified to face the challenges of today’s complex health care environment. |
